Free, and it stays free. No wallet. No token. No X account. Pick a
warrior, sound the horagai, and see how long you hold the shrine.
Your best wave still lands on the Bounty Scroll — it just doesn't
count toward the weekly tournament.

Every week, the highest waves get paid — in tokenized stock. Not
points. Not our token. Actual equity, sent to your wallet.
Next payout
Opens with $ROUNDS
The Game
Rounds is voxel horde survival. You hold a shrine at Yomihara
against waves of oni that do not stop coming. Katana strikes,
ukemi rolls, tatsumaki sweeps, spirit arts. Every fifth wave
brings a boss. You play until you die, and the wave you died on is
your score.
It runs in the browser. Nothing to install, nothing to download.
WASD and a mouse.
Two Modes
Casual
Does not earn stock.
Free, and it stays free. No wallet, no token, no sign-up
beyond picking a name. Your best wave still lands on the
Bounty Scroll and you can climb the casual board — but nothing
you do here pays out. It's the game, not the tournament.
Ranked
Pays in stock, every week.
The weekly tournament. Same game, same waves — but your best
run here is measured against everyone else's, and when the
week closes the pool is paid out in tokenized stock. Entering
requires holding $ROUNDS.
Entering Ranked
Three things, all inside the Ranked panel. Do them in any order.
Choose a name. This is what appears on the board. It's
yours — nobody else can claim it, and you can change it later
without losing your history.
Connect a wallet. One signature to prove the wallet is
yours. No transaction, no gas, nothing moves. This is also where
prizes are paid, and it's how you sign back in from any device.
Hold $ROUNDS. A minimum balance, announced at launch,
read straight from the chain before every ranked run. You keep
your tokens — holding is the ticket, not spending.
One wallet, one account. The same wallet cannot back two names.
How You're Scored
One number:
the highest wave you reached in a single run that week. Not
total waves, not a sum across runs. Your best attempt.
That means a bad run costs you nothing but time, and there's
always a reason to try again. Ties break on kills, then on time
survived.
The Pool — Paid in Stock
You get paid in stock.
Not $ROUNDS. Not points. Not a locked balance you can only spend
here. A tokenized stock, in your wallet, that you can sell, hold
or ignore. It is worth what the market says it's worth, whether
or not this game still exists next year.
The pool is funded by the $ROUNDS trading fee, swapped into that
week's stock before payout. Real revenue in, real equity out — no
new tokens are minted to pay anyone.
The stock changes week to week. One week the pool pays in
$NVDA, the next in something else. Whichever it is, it's announced
before the week opens and shown on the countdown at the top of
this page, so you always know what you're playing for.
The pool splits in two:
50% — The Top 100
Ranked by best wave. Paid on a curve: first place takes the
most, and every place below is worth fighting for. There are
no flat tiers, so 2nd is always better than 10th.
50% — Everyone Past Wave 10
Split equally among every ranked player who reached
wave 10 in a single run that week. Reaching wave 10 twice as
hard pays the same. The threshold is a door, not a dial.
A strong player takes both — their ranked place and their
equal share. The threshold rises as the player count grows, so the
equal share stays meaningful rather than thinning to pennies. Any
change is announced before the week it applies to.
The Week
Weeks run Monday to Monday, UTC. The countdown at the top of this
page is the exact moment the board locks. Runs that finish before
it count; runs that finish after it belong to the next week.
Payouts go out within a day of the lock, after review. Every
payout is a public transaction — the hash is posted, so
anyone can see exactly what went out, to whom.
Fair Play
Every ranked run is checked as it happens. The server watches
pace, kill rate, and progression against what the game can
physically produce, and refuses anything impossible. Runs that
look implausible rather than impossible are flagged and looked at
by a person before money moves — that's what the review
window is for.
Automation, score injection, or running several accounts behind
one player forfeits the week and the account. Bans are public.
The Arena is built for a keyboard and a mouse — WASD, a katana on the
left button, a roll on the right. It doesn't translate to a thumb yet,
and we'd rather not ship a worse version of it.
Everything else works right here: the Bounty Scroll, the rules,
linking a wallet for Ranked. Come back on a laptop to fight.
